Our Story

Hi, we're Michael and Holly.

Urban Supply Co. started at our kitchen table here in San Diego. We're parents of two, and like most parents, we watched screens creep into every corner of childhood. We wanted learning tools our own kids would actually reach for — real cards to flip, clocks with hands to move, stickers to place. Things that build reading, matching, and problem-solving skills the old-fashioned way: through play.

So we made them ourselves. Every game in our store is something that's been tested on our living room floor by our toughest critics.

Small on purpose.

When you order from us, there's no warehouse and no ticket queue. We pack every order by hand — usually in the evening, after homework and sports practice — and one of us personally answers every email.

A customer named Marsha once received the wrong grade level by mistake. We shipped her the two correct games right away and told her to keep the extras — no return, no hassle. In her words: "They reached out personally... Thank you for making great, educational products, Michael & Holly!" That's the kind of company we're trying to be.
